Foundation Presents Additional $5,000 to Albany Medical College PA Program

This month, the Phil With Love Foundation had the honor of presenting an additional $5,000 donation to the Philip L. Rabadi Memorial Fund at Albany Medical College. This fund continues to support future physician assistants in memory of Philip, whose dedication to medicine, compassion, and excellence continue to inspire all of us.

We were joined by Nathan Gardner, Director of the PA Program, who accepted the donation on behalf of Albany Medical College. Also present were Dr. Vanessa Denning, a member of the scholarship selection committee, and two outstanding scholarship recipients—Brandon LaVenture, a past recipient, and this year’s honoree, Hannah Miles.

Sharing this moment with both past and current recipients reminded us why this work is so important. These future PAs carry forward Philip’s spirit—his passion for patient care, his kindness, and his drive to make a difference in the lives of others.

Every dollar donated to the memorial fund helps shape the future of healthcare by supporting PA students who embody the same values Philip stood for. We’re proud to contribute to their journey and to continue turning our grief into purpose—fueling opportunity, growth, and impact in Philip’s name.
